What can we do to celebrate Christmas all year?
Consider these verses:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation. The old is gone. The new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us -- We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God"(2 Corinthians 5:17-20).
That's the answer! We must do His work! He has given us the ministry -- continuing the work He began!
Biblical reconciliation is the process of two previously alienated parties coming to peace with each other. Because God has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, we can reconcile with each other, and show others how to be reconciled to Him!
He no longer counts our offenses against us, and we no longer count the offenses of others against us.
That's how we can keep celebrating Christmas all year --- we act as ambassadors for Him -- doing His work and bringing the world back to Him! That's why He came and that's why we are here!
