     But they continued to sin against him, rebelling in
     the desert against the Most High.

     They wilfully put God to the test by demanding
     the food they craved.

     They spoke against God, saying, "Can God spread
     a table in the desert?"

     When the LORD heard them he was very angry...
     Yet he gave a command to the skies above and
     opened the doors of heaven.

     He rained down manna for the people to eat, he
     gave them the grain of heaven.
 
     Men ate the bread of angels.

Rebelling against the Most High?

They demanded the food they craved.

He gave them the bread of angels.

In the deserts of my heart,

let the healing fountains

start --

 

in the prison of my days,

teach this free man

how to praise.....
