"Do not be anxious about anything, but by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
Paul is telling us we can take everything - yes, everything, to God.
Jesus' death brought us back to our Abba Father. Like a loving Dad, He wants us to talk to Him about everything bothering us. Even those things that are obviously the result of our own folly and stupidity.
And we always approach Him "with thanksgiving"! After all, how could anyone approach Him in any other way?
He is with us now and He is coming back soon to make all things right again.
That kind of peace frees us to love and serve Him wholeheartedly today!
